Re: Disney Movies Anywhere - Available now!

Ok. Bonuses material are very limited compared to DVDs & BR, censoring contents are still there or happen in others (walt & El gruppo on the website doesn't have anymore the uncensored version of Saludos Amigos), service unaccessible outside USA (just like amazon instant, and Warner archives...

Re: Disney Is Remastering Song of the South - Possible Relea

I would be very curious in that extra feature containing the uncensored scenes from Fantasia... as far as I know there was only ever one TV airing of that which was recorded and it looks really bad. Even with remastering you can tell it's a very old bootleg. Man, I want that bootleg set now. Join t...

Re: Foreign Blu-Ray discs containing both dubs!

The smartest decision Disney would make is include in the Bluray release both 1st and 2nd dubbings in every country it was redubbed, just like they will do in Germany. It's like a dream come true and I doubt they will do it, but nothing is impossible... My point exactly. They'll probably never do i...

Re: Foreign Blu-Ray discs containing both dubs!

Italy got their old dub of Peter Pan back on their Blu-Ray Snow White too, I believe. In France and other french speaking counties, the situation is the same, or even worse for some titles, espeacially all the titles prior to 101 dalmatians. For exemple, Snow White had, until now at least, four or ...

Hi, I already found it and as I told earlyer, I created this new thread because it does have another goal than just creating covers for the sake of it. So I thought that it was wiser not to mix up the two threads since both of them does have different paterns.

Custom Disney DVD/Blu Ray covers (Photoshop/creative topic)

Hi everyone. I was wondering, if you were ok that the classics/Walt era films and shorts were to be handled by other companies than Disney itself (EX.: KINO, CRITERION, THUNDERBEANS, etc), what companies would you chose and how would you made the covers & labels of the classic films (Snow White,...

Jpanimation, the Disney butchery goes even beyond grain scrubbling & grain smoothing, they go to the point to remake cheaply all the animations by rotoscoping all the moving action elements in order to improve it and remake all the backgrounds with freeze frames that have lost elements like dept...

Ok, thanks. In the review of Cindy in DVDIZZI, it says that the ending card was replaced by a modern one. Is that true ? How does it look like ?

Thanks to answer

Hi, Milo. Thanks for the answer. Weird that Disney doesn't give a clear answer to this, they rarely miss an opportunity to show publicly how merciles they are with conterfeit of their products. I'm afraid that the only way to find out is by going there, buy a copy and analyse it. If it's a boothleg,...

Or they could have gone the Peter Pan way: have the restored version on dvd 1, and the unrestored version on dvd 2, as a "read-along" feature... What do you mean by that ? They didn't do that for the Peter Pan DVD, to what I rememder... Criterion was just an exemple, but indeed, I'm afrai...
