Gah. Nobody had anything in stock that I could see. Not Walmart, Future Shop, Best Buy, their online sites have no clue that these even exist.

I ordered online. And I never do that for dvd's. Just have never needed to.

Well, it was in front of NT2 here, and it was *hilarious*. Whole audience was roaring with laughter, especially when Goofy was selecting his tv.

Had no idea this was coming, so it was an especially rare treat.

Just opened my three tins. Not even a speck of glue on the Oswald rear case, so it's completely loose. Other two are barely holding on. Love the E-ticket book, memories of my childhood flooding back there. Donald and Disney are completely sold out everywhere I look, with dozens of Oswald still on th...

Ok, saw the film in 3D yesterday in Kentucky. Enjoyed it very much. Have to agree the middle is a mess. Love the beginning and end, but the whole family thing in the middle just seemed like filler for time, and excuses to throw some 3D stuff at you. Never saw Chicken Little, nothing to compare there...

And again, I should take another look at the film because I didn't notice Pan and the trees being any other color than green. Could somebody please take screen caps of scenes were Pan's clothe's or trees appear different so I can see them? The new yellow Pan outfit: http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showthr...

Thanks.

This is really a misstep by Disney here not to provide a list.

but without an image from the film in 1953 to compare the new transfer, how can he honestly say the new transfer is wrong? Because the redskins are no longer red? Because trees are no longer green? Because Peter Pan is no longer wearing green? It's not like they're off by a little. They're massivel...

Theatre list for 3D Meet the Robinsons?

Anyone seen one? The Real D site appears massively out of date, and there's no indication that just because a theatre exists, it'll be showing MTR.

I'm taking a vacation through some states, want to plan on which city I'm going to view it at.

Re: SFGate-"Disney could unlock 'Song of the South'&quo

Pappas said it's not clear that the movie is intentionally racist, but it inappropriately projects Remus as a happy, laughing storyteller even though he's a plantation worker.

My copy has some numbers there which I believe denote the volume number of the pressing: 310056 L1 (L5450) TL4-0N-NM1.1 No date on my hub either. I've got: 0FXY5 0FXZ5 2283 (311933L0) L5450 (repeated again a litle further out) and finally really tiny IFPI L486 But it's a Canadian disk, the actual l...

I'll bet it was an accident. It's pretty tough being in those costumes, not easy to exercise fine muscle control. Especially with tons of little kids around grabbing you and everything. Easy to miss one. As for the groping, CNN's story said they found him not guilty. I guess Piglet 'Cochrane' is a p...

I was kind of disappointed by the whole lemming hoax though. It ruins the purpose of "True Life Adventures". The whole lemming hoax thing is *way* overblown. I just watched the film tonight, and all they really say is exactly what does happen in reality... occasionally during high populat...

Anyone can pull a DVD off the shelf, take an X-acto knife or some other small blade, slide it along the line on the side where you open the case, pull out the disc, and put it on the shelf, and it's hardly noticeable unless you pick it up and feel it. Every tried it? It's absolutely *not* something...

Think I'm going to be the high numbers here...

Your Host: 59,541
Symphony2: 61,389
Pluto: 62,235
Hardy Boys: 63,331

I wouldn't be surprised if they made the Canadian versions the high numbers, like they did with the early releases.

Well, I bought my 4. Wasn't planning on the Hardy Boys, but the limited number and the fact I used to love the Hardy Boys books many decades ago pushed me over the top.

Haven't opened them yet, because the wife might give me some for Christmas, and I'll end up having to return mine secretly. ;)

I'm really quite perplexed as to what some people intend to do with the packaging on their discs??? :? :? :? Have you opened them and looked inside? Some of us intend to *play* the dvd's, not just look at them. The disks are mounted on *cardboard*, with a just little tiny plastic hub glued on. How ...

Well, I'm in the middle on the packaging. Looks gorgeous, but I'm worried about the durability. Would have prefered a metal tin cover instead of the see through, I can see the gorgeous inside when I open it, I don't need to, or can in fact see it when it's on the shelf. And the film reel idea is coo...

Worst covers: Any release that looks down on them as kid movies. AKA, pretty much every single US/Canada cover.

Best covers: Any release that treats these movies as the great adult fare they are. AKA, pretty much every international release, such as those gorgeous French and German covers.
