Re: The Disney in Spielberg...
I edited my original post to finish my Always entree, and to add one to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom(one that completely slipped my mind.). Thanks for the comments to those interested. However, you unfortunately skipped out on my favorite Spielberg-directed film: Empire of the Sun . Know of ...

The Disney in Spielberg...
Since I made a reference in the Enchanted mentioning Spielberg's numerous references in Disney, and a couple of members were curious of the examples, I decided to post an entire thread of the information not to go off-topic from Enchanted. So here you go. The following is a list of the tips of the h...

I didn´t even think the theatre was open on Christmas day?? What about all those poor people who have to work - i hope they paid a lot! Some restaurants are also open on Christmas day. It really isn't that sad, there are some benefits to working on Christmas Day-getting quite a lot of other days of...

Finding Nemo is my favorite Pixar movie and I really love but it's not the greatest animation movie. Why The Little Mermaid,Sleeping Beauty,The Nightmare Before Christmas,Enchanted and Cinderella on such low places? this sucks!!! Lilo and Stitch should be insted of Simpons Movie,Ali...

I honestly don't know what's more disgusting: 1. The atrocity that made #1. 2. Uninspired sh!t like Enchanted made it anywhere near list with a 25-yard pole while they give the shaft to Who Framed Roger Rabbit, the most important film for modern animation. 3. The fact true masterpieces like Pinocchi...

I've added/seen a lot of those films, so thanks. I had a feeling you saw a couple of the ones I've listed, but considering some you listed, you never know. Just curious, which ones did you add? And Jaws is actually PG, believe it or not. I think the final one is the only one that's PG-13. Quite rig...

Titanic If it were any other actor besides Leo, and if it wasn't as shockingly successful as it was, would you consider giving it a chance? Eh....not really. All Titanic is is a chick flick with costly sets. The fact it's over three hours long also adds to the pain. I'm mildly interested in Titanic...

yes he lost his contact at Disney when John Lasseter took over. Under Lasseter's reign, when you speak out to the media, you're fired no questions asked. Personally I'm glad about this, because Jim always found a way to spin the information he'd receive into something negative. He'd always creative...

So, are they gonna do a new DVD instead of rereleasing the 3D version in theatres. Cause, as much as I can't wait for the blu-ray, that'll really suck considering that a couple of theatres around here just got the capability to play it about a month or so ago. Please tell me that they're gonna do a...

Pinocchio is probably Disney's best film. The animation still is probably the most impressive the studio has ever done(waaaaaaaay better than Sleeping Beauty), the plot, voice-work, messages still hold up 68 years later and represent Disney at it's finest. And who can't love the music? I don't see h...

2099net, I haven't changed my opinion, I still agree with you on Pixar's complete lack of originality. I think Wall-E shows some creativity though, if just for the fact none of the characters talk and for the first time the center of the film is a romance(every other Pixar movie just briefly referen...

Really depressing news. Ollie Johnson was one of the most talented people on Earth. Only 8 other people could've claim the craft in animation he had. Shame an end of an era has come. But at least he was 95 and lived a great life. But that won't change the fact he'll be greatly missed. 2008 sucks so ...

Best part is John Goodman is in Princess and the Frog. He rocked in New Groove and Monsters, Inc. he's awesome. Don't forget his wonderful voice-work in The Jungle Book 2. :) A lot of these projects don't get me too excited(I still predict box office disappointment, probable failure for Princess an...

I'd like to apologize. I agree a few of my comments were out of line, which Charlton himself wouldn't have approved. I hope we move on and remember the great man we lost.
But while I'm at it, this Jim Hill Article is great tribute to Heston's Disney involvement.
