The Aladdin one is gorgeous, but the Sleeping Beauty one is genius! I'd pick the fourth SB avatar.
Masterful work, Divinity!

Re: Explain Your Avatar: The Next Generation
I'm glad there are people who like to see them (some of them anyway ). Thanks.
This one was more difficult than the others for some reason. It’s because I had to really stretch to hit all the narrative points I wanted to touch on. (I’ve always had the same problem with TLM, how to hit the father-daughter dynamic, Ariel’s independence arc with the deal, the iconic scenes like KTG, etc. all at once.) I had many other versions, but these were the only two I uploaded. And tweaked The Black Cauldron (always wanted to shrink Taran, but it would have been too much trouble...; bottom is the old one for comparison):
Starting Atlantis next (will update this post). Probably Fantasia after that. I'll probably switch between slowly over time; Tarzan's still new.

I think the Lion King one is perfect! So well done!
I think the Black Cauldron one is also pretty awesome, but I feel we should see the Horned King's face. Glad you improved on Taran.

Atlantis
The 2nd avatar and 2nd banner are my favorites. I brought Kida forward in the banner to balance out the picture on the left. I thought about using Milo's book, but couldn't find a good picture of it. You know, every time I watch Atlantis, I like it more and more.

My attempt at a Divinity-style signature and avatar combo for Captain America.

Re: Explain Your Avatar: The Next Generation
I haven't seen the CA movie(s?), but it looks very pretty. I like how the armor/shield are in the background, and then the pictures on each end (maybe scenes from the past?) are in monotone.

Re: Explain Your Avatar: The Next Generation
Just wanted to share these... (I'll probably be "wearing them" the next two months.)
Should have Snow White done either tomorrow or Tuesday, since I have all the pictures needed to make it and know what I'm going to do; I'll edit this post then.

Re: Explain Your Avatar: The Next Generation
Thank you. After I finished, I made some other options for myself (for future's sake):
I also made a Hercules banner, but it's nowhere near as pretty. Mostly focusing on Dumbo and the '50s films I haven't done yet now.

Re: Explain Your Avatar: The Next Generation
It is amazing. Proving just how pretty Walt's Cinderella is. It really takes skills, though, to show how pretty it is and in a such a carefully perfect arrangement, so Divinity must be commended. He picked the best avatar and banner choices! And it really tells the story. I only have to say I don't like the flipping of the coach and horses on the way to the ball in the third banner. But other than that, all the other avatars and banners are amazing as well.

Re: Explain Your Avatar: The Next Generation
Aaaaah! I need to update.
I redrew my old avatar so that now it is generally more pleasing and um ... easy on the eyes.
Yes, citizens of DVDizzy.com, you shall no longer suffer epileptic seizures.
Here is the new artwork in large format.
And the source of the old avatar for comparison ...
Hope you guys like it! I bid you good night now, as it is 1:47 AM in my time zone!

I thought the old one was funnier. You didn't have to give it flashing lights and we wouldn't have seizures.

I feel that it's a new era-- Mr. Avatar (?!) got corrective eye surgery and Botox to help his drooling. I hope he's happier.
