If you JUST want Fat Cat, I'd suggest browsing eBay. There's bound to be several for sale on there. That's the only way to guarantee getting him.

Where do they sell exactly these things? I haven't found any of these in the Disney Store.

Try the Disney Store website. eBay. Really, that's all I can tell you. I don't live anywhere near a Disney Store, so, I've had to get the few I own through eBay.

I guess it depends at what Disney Store you live y. My closest one is in Orlando, and they have a few different Vinylmation series. I haven't been there in about 2 months though, so I'm not sure if they have the current villains set or not. But my store is probably a higher profile one, since it's at a tourist-friendly mall in fairly big town, and close to WDW. It might be different elsewhere.

I'm surprised at the amount of characters created with this series! It's probably a good thing I'm only interested in a few otherwise I'd go broke.

Yeah, I had just about figured that one out sadly, as the other vinylmations I have at least have a clear window heh. Thankfully someone in the UK has listed a Fat Cat on eBay, so I will hopefully be able to get it from them... and at least I know now HOW much they retail for in the UK to base my bid on.

(huh, having compared, technically the UK price is CHEAPER than the US... go figure... £8 versus $13).

I have a question for you all. I have never had an interest in a vinylmation figure before, but I like how the new Maleficent one looks, and I'd like to add it to my collection. There is a Disney store a little less than an hour away from me that I'm planning on going to next week, are my chances of getting her there good? Are they packaged in a secretive way so that you don't know which one you're buying? Would I be better off finding it at the store or online? Any help would be very appreciated!

This series, as said, is blind, so the boxes are sealed with no window. Only way to get a Malificent would be to buy a bunch and open them, and hope you get her. Or find someone selling her on eBay etc.

I went to Downtown Disney last night and went into D Street, which has a big supply of vinylmation boxes. Sadly, the current villains set wasn't ported over to Downtown Disney and can only be bought from the Disney Stores.

What's up with that?

I see! Are the Silly Symphonies figures exclusive to the parks? I don't recall seeing them at the Store before.

I also saw a LOT of copies of the new TaleSpin and Darkwing Duck sets. I was surprised, since they usually sell out fast.

I think Silly Symphonies was only available at the Parks and Disney Store Online.

Wow. This one completely took me by surprise! I love it!

What's with Disney lately? They're actually merchandising Hercules all of sudden... It's completely out of character for them. Pain & Panic, The Cyclops and now the Hydra have all gotten Vinylmations in the past three months. I'm not complaining, mind you, but it IS shocking.

In the past few months, I've been seeing face characters of Hercules and Meg on my tumblr dash. It's died down a bit recently, but it does seem like there's a bit of a resurgence in the film's popularity.

Maybe we'll get figures of Herc and Hades from Funko's next set!

I like this King Louie more than I do the Jungle Book Series one. It's those arms... They just look goofy. To be honest, that kind of tinkering with the Vinyl mold, adding new sorts of designs to suit specific characters kind of bugs me. I'm obsessive-compulsive, so, I like the figures to match each other when they're lined up on a shelf. That being said, I love it when they come with little accessories, like Frollo's or McLeach's hats, the Headless Horseman's pumpkin, etc. (I wonder why none of the Maleficent vinylmations have included her staff as an accessory. If they make more Jafars, I would be completely disappointed if they didn't include HIS staff, so, I'm sure Maleficent fans must feel the same...)

I´m thinking of, in the future since I´m finishing a lead figure collection right now, doing a collection of these figures.

I won´t be getting all of them. Just the characters from the movies.

If I decide to do a collection like this. Would it be hard?
