The Three Musketeers preview screening

Post by karlsen »

I am looking forward to tomorrow because I will be as fortunate as to see a preview screening of the movie "The Three Musketeers" in Norway.

It will be screened at a closed celebration of Donald Ducks 70 years birthday.

I am afraid that it will be dubed, but I can live with that. It will be fun to see it.

But there will be lots of other cool things there as well, and even Vicar (one of the worlds most famous Donald Duck cartoonists) will be there.

OK, I am back.

It was a great movie, but as usual Disney has twisted the original story to the unrecogniseble.

First of all: This is in no way connected to the Three musketeers written by Alexandre Dumas, but the story still tryes to conect a little to it. If you are a great fan of Dumas work I bet that you will get disapointed about this one.

But it is realy beautifully drawn, and have a nice little plot that all goes along with. I think it gets a little to much into the love between Mikkey and Minni, and it could have been done better if they made Minney a little less modern thinking then she is in the movie.

I also think that it is a mistake to call this a Mickey, Donald and Goofy movie because this is realy a Mickey movie with Donald and Goofy coming along. Everything is spining around Mickey and it gets a little to much if the intention was to make a joint feauture.

I can realy not say anything about the voices because they were in dubbed into Norwegian already. I am sadened by that because a lott of the voices was irritating, but I have no idea how it will sound in the original one.

Basicly this is a nice picture, but I don't know if I will buy it when it comes on the market. That depends all on the price and the extras.

Hey, Karlsen thanks for the review it sounds great to me. I guess I'm a big Mickey, Donald and Goofy fan.
I will get this one when it comes out to be available.
In the United States it should cost about $17.49 or something like that.
That's what usually Costco sells Disney one Disc DVD's.
