I think this DVD sounds good, but I'm really hoping there's more to it than what the press release is letting on since we need the usual things such as galleries, trailers and tv spots, abandoned concepts, etc. I'm also curious to see if Pixar shows us the original dark story treatment of Nemo, which sounds fascinating.

WOW! This sounds like a great DVD! I can't wait to own it. It may just inspire me to go out and purchase the other Pixar films, with the exception of Toy Story... I would really like to have gotten the Ultimate Toy Box, but it is just money I do not have...

Any way, sounds like a great DVD, and I am especially interested in the Aquarium feature, hope it turns out as good as I am imaging it!

Now that I know we're having a lot of the meat and potatoes in the visual commentary (which I misread before and thought it only said audio commentary), I'm more satisfied with this DVD. Commentary, documentary, narrated galleries, deleted scenes, recording sessions, trailers-sounds good to me.

Once again, Pixar have made an excellent selection of extras...

They never disappoint, and I'm sure this will be grand.

Now, all I have to do is see the film (which is not out here for another month).

It is always great to see that Pixar make consistently good films when they could just as easily release a barebones disc that they know will sell like hotcakes either way.

I've always said Pixar can do no wrong with their films, and once again they prove that they can do no wrong with their DVD releases. This set seems to be very much in the mold of previous Pixar collector's editions, but each film is so unique that it makes it different and special seeing each movie in a new light on DVD. I especially can't wait for the visiual commentary.

OK, I have yet to see this movie, so are the turtles a really big part in it? Because if not, that cover's horrible. Where's Nemo? His name is in the title, but he doesn't get to be on the cover? Poor little Nemo...

Yeah, but the cover doesn't have to be an actual scene from the movie. Look at the Sleeping Beauty cover art-Phillip appears twice! If the turtles aren't a very big part of the movie, I say ax them and make room for Nemo-isn't he technically the movie's star?

If anyone is interested the supplements have been certified at the BBFC and listed on this thread in the International forum. It's useful to view, as it will show the running times (or not, being as once again the bulk of the supplements are under a minute).

However there is some mystery, as some of the supplements are suffixed "International Version".

Anyhow, it give a good indication of what the bulk of the R1 disc's contents will be.

This disc is missing most of all the Pixar material, like galleries, trailers, posters, internation reel, gag reel, CGI tests, and so much more that was on other pixar releases. what's the deal?
