FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
A DISNEY CHANNEL HOLIDAY

All Your Favorite Disney Channel Stars In A Holiday-Themed DVD Extravaganza

Lizzie McGuire
That’s So Raven
Even Stevens
The Suite Life of Zack & Cody
Kim Possible

Ring In The Holidays On DVD November 1

BURBANK, Calif., June 2, 2005 – Celebrate the holidays with a special Disney Channel Holiday DVD that
features all your favorite Disney Channel stars in holiday-themed stories. Lizzie McGuire, That’ So Raven, Even
Stevens
, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, and Kim Possible each have their own episodes on this unique DVD,
that features a bonus never-before-seen episode of “Phil of the Future,” and music videos. Available on November
1 for $19.99 (S.R.P).

THE SUITE LIFE OF ZACK & CODY “CHRISTMAS AT TIPTON” (NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN)
When a snow storm hits and the airport closes, leaving everyone stranded, the only person who seems happy about
the situation is Cody, since this means the Martins will have to spend Christmas together. Although tensions rise
when the hotel’s electrical system breaks down, everyone is brought together for the true spirit of Christmas when a
stranded man and his pregnant wife give birth to a baby girl, reincarnating a modern version of the nativity scene
underneath the Tipton’s Christmas tree. Starring Cole and Dylan Sprouse.

LIZZIE MCGUIRE “XTREME XMAS”
Hilary Duff stars as Lizzie McGuire! It's going to be Lizzie's best Christmas ever as soon as she builds an amazing
rock n' roll themed float for the local Christmas parade. Unfortunately, Gordo and her family bail out of float
building to help a quirky old man -- who claims to be Santa's elf -- fix the plumbing at his retirement home. Lizzie
learns the true meaning of Christmas and gets a magical surprise when the rock n' roll float she never finished
shows up in the parade carrying none other than Aerosmith's Steven Tyler belting out a rockin' rendition of 'Santa
Claus is Coming to Town.'

THAT’S SO RAVEN “ESCAPE CLAUSE”
Raven gets a vision that she will receive a beautiful necklace for Christmas, so she opens the gift ahead of time,
then accidentally destroys it. In order to replace the necklace, Raven, Chelsea and Eddie cut class and go shopping
where they are discovered by their stern teacher Mr. Petracelli. Starring Raven.

EVEN STEVENS “HECK OF A HANUKKAH”
Louis, having just ruined Hanukkah for his family by accidentally destroying the gifts, believes his family would be
better off without him and wishes he'd never been born. When the ghost of his great-great-great-great grandmother,
the loveable Bubbie Rose, appears and grants his wish, Louis learns how badly his family needs him. Starring
Christy Carlson Romano and Shia LaBeouf.

KIM POSSIBLE “A VERY POSSIBLE CHRISTMAS”
In the spirit of the season, Drakken, Shego, Ron and the Possible family put their differences behind them to share
Christmas... of course, only after several action-packed battles and confrontations. Legendary star of stage and
screen Debbie Reynolds (“Singin’ In The Rain”) reprises her role as the voice of Kim’s Grandmother, Nana. Other
guest voices include Stephen Root (“News Radio”) as Memphis; Lauren Tom (“Grace Under Fire”) as Yoshiko;
and Ed Hall (“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”). Starring Christy Carlson Romano as the voice of Kim Possible.

Thank you for the info, Luke.

Now my complaints: can't they find a better way to make money this holiday season? Maybe rerelease Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas or something. I know that's not a good movie, but it's better than...THIS! The Disney Channel seems to be the only thing keeping Disney going, besides the Pixar movies, rereleases and Desperate Housewives.

You'll still get it though, right?

I, for one, am excited for it! Very Happy
...I'm confused, though. The front page mentions "Phil of the Future"?

As does the first paragraph...but nothing more than that. At the very least, we get an "Even Stevens" episode...and one I've never seen!

Well that's what I get for just paying attention to the bolded show names. Hopefully Phil actually shows up on the DVD.

It's a great episode of ES! Thumb's Up

You would think a channel called the Disney channel would actually show stuff that Walt Disney actually created or worked on. Rolling Eyes If Walt watched that channel he would vomit.

I know that channel is terrible (no offense to those people who like it), I'm just saying... Watch stuff on ABC sometime especially on a movie night or Saturday morning. They're using a good channel to advertise a horrid channel. It's ridiculous.

I know. They almost never play any Disney movies unless the movies are comedies, sequels or second-rate junk made long after Walt's death. Rolling Eyes

No thanks.

I'm not a big fan of any of those shows but for those that are that must be sweet. I would love if Disney would release Christmas episodes of their classic animated series. I know they will eventually end up on DVD in season sets (one would guess) but having a Christmas collection on one or two DVDs would be a real treat.

Hmmm... so the suggested retail price for the DVD and VHS is the same. I wonder who still buys DVDs out there? Even my American friend from the south who said she would never convert to DVDs has. Surprised

What? Walt would vomit if he saw the Disney Channel?! I don't think so. Disney has evolved during the near century that it has been around, and it has always changed to suit the style of the time. In the '20's we saw Black and White cartoons, but in the '60's Walt himself wasn't even making that many cartoons, let alone in Black or White. And in the present day is Disney still making animated feature films? No, as Disney has evolved to suit the style of the time. I'm sure that if Walt was still with us, he would've certainly done the same thing that Eisner did, with making this channel and evolving with kids of today. The Disney Channel is clean TV that is not only entertaining, but teaches a lesson/moral to children and that is what parents want. Disney is a name that they can trust and rely on. Disney is giving it to them at a reasonable price 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These shows are not for everyone, but they are pretty satisfying for what they are. Please don't insult a Channel that doesn't show what you would like to see and isn't what you want. If you want something different, switch to a different channel. Or if you are wanting some more classy releases for Christmas, buy the Classic Cartoon Favourites. If you aren't wanting that then wait for something better, because I'm sure that Disney will release what you're looking for and you'll have your wish. I'm not directing this at a specific person, but at all the people who dislike the Disney Channel.
On a lighter note, this is the pick of the bunch for me and I'm looking forward to the Phil of the Future episode and also the music videos. I'm hoping for maybe a Disney Channel circle of Stars clip and a classier song, something maybe in the vein of Babs 'Someday my Prince will come' or Micheal Crawford's 'Baby Mine'. I wanted the Christmas episode of Lilo and Stitch the Series, though.

They might as well call this station The Eisner Channel! Since Walt would see no creativity in it!

No, my good buddy John Edwards (Crossing Over) handles that department for me... Very Happy

Anyway, I'll probably buy it just for the Even Stevens episode.

James, you have an interesting message there, but I completely disagree.

Bambiwas made over sixty years ago. It's timeless, though. I was watching my nephew when it was on TV on Saturday--he adored that movie! He was doing everything that Bambi and Thumper did, and later on when he was playing he even added some of the plot to his games. Nobody has tried to fit it "to the style of the times." That's why it works. You can't update Bambi. However, the shows on the Disney Channel die off. While adults still watch Bambi fondly, TV shows and such that they watched when they were eight, they might remember with nostlagia (spelling...), but they wouldn't actually enjoy Captain Kangaroo as much as they did once upon a time.

Do you see my point or has it been lost?
