I feel an urge to import with these; I missed on the Disneyland treasure tin and this may be a good way to inject Disneyland related stuff into my collection. One word; the Mickey Mouse Club cover is showing, not the Disneyland one. ;)

I'm debating whether to get this...looks like a very attractive package. But that's just it, seems more like a novelty of sorts. I'm wondering if they'll highlight anything besides the Parks.

Looks pretty good. I'll probably get it out of curiosity if for nothing else.

No reason why they should highlight anything else besides Walt's park on this release, I would think. I am very excited about this release, I hope they got a lot of great interviews and early footage of Disneyland.

Don't think so brother. It took a lot of time to get Disneyland in the spotlight, let it shine. You should buy it, I think it's gonna be great. :D

I am interested in this. I think I'll wait for prices to drop, and then I'll get it.

It's under $14 from Amazon now and will probably be a dollar or so more elsewhere. Do you think prices will drop lower than that? To me, it already sounds like a good value when you consider something like The Young Black Stallion or the hour-long DTVs carry $29.99 SRPs and the lightweight Princess DVDs carry the same tag as this. All signs point to this being a fairly packed and satisfying disc. But you can always wait for my review! :)

Actually, Remus, that Disneyland Fun volume also has a sing-along for "Disneyland is a Magical Place." So only 5/6 of it will apparently be recycled! :P For only $5 more, Secrets definitely sounds like a better value.

Do the Sing-Along videos have interstitials between the songs- like maybe skits with Mickey & Co around the Magic Kingdom, for example? I can't remember from my days of Sing-Along-watching.

I'd like to think that the video used for the songs is different between the two releases, even if the songs are the same, but something tells me that's doubtful. :headshake:

I have the old video tape and I was just watching it after I read Luke's post. The song "Disneyland is a Magical Place" is referenced on the box but I never saw it in the video. I searched over the internet and could only find people quoting everything from the box of the video. People who have seen this video would agree that the song has never been on the video in the first place. So either the song "Disneyland is a Magical Place" is a new song or else Disney is recycling the whole video onto the DVD

To answer Aaron's question, this is what the video is: It starts with a brief introduction from Professor Owl and then the whole movie continues as a book with the title "Disney Song Book". After every song, a page turns to reveal a new song. After the last song (When You Wish Upon a Star), the book closes and the credits roll. That's mostly what the movie was like. One thing that was interesting about the video I have was that It started with a commercial celebrating Disneyland's 35 Anniversary. This movie was released back in 1990.

:D Graduation's passed ( :( )and it's finally summer vacation so here is my inaugural first post of many posts of the summer after not posting for forever!

That's awesome that the whole original Disneyland Fun is going to be on this DVD! From the original press release, it only mentioned 2 songs and now all of them will be there! YAY!!!! This has always been my favorite sing-a-long and I remember bringing it to watch on the last day of school of 1st grade and it was a perfect way to end our 1st year of elementary school and start our summer.

That "Disneyland is a Magical Place" is most definitely a new song since I've seen DF a million times and never heard that song.

Maybe this time instead of DL's 35th they'll have an opening for DL's 50th! I can't believe it's been 15 years since I got that video! :D
