The Chronological Donald, Volume Four	Dr. Syn, Alias The Scarecrow	Destino
Disney fans will delight in "Chronological Donald, Volume 4," which includes 31 classic shorts starring Donald Duck. Each of these meticulously animated adventures was created between 1951 and 1961 and has rarely been seen. All of Donald’s CinemaScope shorts will be presented in their original widescreen aspect ratio for the first time on video.	"Dr Syn, Alias the Scarecrow," which first aired as three separate episodes on Disney’s weekly TV show under the title "The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh," was edited for theatrical releases in England and the U.S. This DVD set includes all three of the original TV episodes plus the theatrical version of the film that was released in England.	"Destino" began in 1946 as a collaboration between Walt Disney and the famed surrealist painter Salvador Dali. A first-hand example of Disney’s interest in avant garde and experimental work in animation, "Destino" was to be awash with Dali’s iconic melting clocks, marching ants and floating eyeballs. However, "Destino" was not completed at that time. In 2003 it was rediscovered by Walt’s nephew, Roy E. Disney, who took on the challenge of bringing the creation of these two great artists to fruition. In addition to the completed "Destino," this exciting addition to the Walt Disney Treasures line also includes an all-new feature-length documentary that examines the surprising partnership between Dali and Disney plus two new featurettes; "The Disney That Almost Was," an examination of the studio’s unfinished projects; and "Encounters with Walt," which addresses the surprisingly diverse group of celebrities and artists who were attracted to Walt Disney’s early work.

Announced as one of four Disney DVDs coinciding July 2005's 50th anniversary celebrations of the Anaheim theme park, this long-delayed disc slipped on and off BVHE's radar over the past two years before settling into the resurrected Treasures line. Much to the delight of Disney Parks fans, it promises a comprehensive, never-before-seen, feature-length documentary titled Disneyland: Then, Now and Forever. According to the original specs, the movie was to be accompanied by a Wonderful World of Disneyland trivia game (with beginner and advanced levels), an introduction by anniversary ambassador Julie Andrews, extended interviews with Diane Disney-Miller and Rolly Crump, thirteen Disneyland sing-along songs, the short Disneyland U.S.A. at Radio City Music Hall, and a collectable replica of the park's original E-ticket book. During the many months this titled was shelved, the Radio City Music Hall presentation surfaced (on Your Host, Walt Disney) and the sing-along numbers were released in their original format (a vanilla DVD of 1990 VHS Sing Along Songs: Disneyland Fun). It's unlikely these will still show up here and unclear what else will be added to pad this to a two-disc set from the single-disc as which it was planned. One thing certain is that the set will include both that E-ticket book replica and a lithograph of castle concept art. The centerpiece of this volume is a new documentary with archival footage, including Walt’s own words, as well as new interviews that reveal the magic and manpower behind one of the world’s most famous destinations. Review	The most self-explanatory of the Wave 7 releases, this one will provide 30 shorts from 4 years in Donald Duck's voluminous series plus a couple of bonus features. The included lithograph is a reproduction of poster art for Inferior Decorator. Official Studio Description: The Chronological Donald, Volume 3 features the most prolific of "Walt’s Fab Five," the short-tempered but hilarious Donald Duck in rarely seen solo shorts dating 1947 through 1950. Review	In February 2006, Disney allowed sportscaster Al Michaels to exit his contract with ABC Sports and join NBC's team of sports announcers. In exchange, the Mouse reclaimed from NBC/Universal the rights to Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney's very first cartoon star whose ownership went to Charles B. Mintz and Universal in 1929. Though twenty-six black and white Oswald shorts were produced under Walt Disney and his animator Ub Iwerks, few are known to survive today. Those that do live on are expected to be presented here in a highly-restored state.
