It is so pretty outside! We got about 12" of snow. I stayed home from work so I can enjoy it from my windows. We have a dog that's part German Shepard and part Bassett Hound so he's really short and long. All you see in our back yard are tunnels where he's walked. He loves playing in the snow.

Oh yeah, we're getting lots of snow. It started at about 2:00 here and it's still going. I left work at 4 and if it keeps this up all night, I'm calling in tomorrow. I earned time as of 5:00 today so yippee!

My absolute favorite Christmas song is "Winter Wonderland". Last year my friend gave me a trio of snowmen that played that song. I love it.

I love snow.....as long as I don't have to drive in it. Right now we are getting a mix of sleet, freezing rain and just plain old rain. The roads are slick and it's cold out. Normally I wouldn't mind but I'm out of leave at work so I have to go tomorrow. I'm hoping now that it gets bad enough that o...

I participated last year for the first time but unfortunately I can't this year. It's been a good long while since I posted plus, this has been a really bad summer/fall for us. I look forward to seeing what everyone gets. It was a lot of fun and those that are new to it will enjoy it.

My aunt & uncle have a cat that's a hunter. He'll kill just about anything that moves....rabbits, squirrels, moles...you name it. The biggest problem is he brings them to the front porch to show off what he's done. It bothers my aunt a lot. At least they don't have a rodent problem. My other unc...

Well, we have another cat. She's solid white with bright yellow eyes. She's only five months old. My husband had a job at an animal hospital and he saw this little cat in a cage at the back of the room. He asked about her....she was born with her hind legs backwards. The girl working there said she ...

I'd have a hard time following it. My pets are so special to me. Besides, there are so many different names out there that unless it's Fluffy or Spot or something like that it's hard to tell if it's a "human" name or not. Like I said I love all my pets. Other than the ones that were alread...

I have a friend whose daughter is named Bailey and she is not upset that my cat shares the same name. I have another friend who only chooses "human" names for her cats(Jasmine, Ricky, Bobby, Chloe, Sammy, and Howie) and I think it's fine. A name does mean something and my pets are a part o...

Can you guess which names my husband chose? Bailey is a black female and I named her. Rocky is an orange tabby. My hubby felt he needed a "manly" name. We got both of them from a shelter. Rambo is a black cat from a local pet shop. My hubby was playing with him and he reached up and licked...

I saw this movie once. That was enough. I'm extremely scared of spiders. Instead of killing them I'm the type that will run from them. I just don't like them at all. I didn't really find the movie scary. I'm not sure what I would call it. The spiders looked too real for me...not the big one but all ...

We got The Brothers Grimm the other day. It's a blind buy so I hope we like it. We have so many movies we need to watch, but there's never enough time. Hopefully in a couple of weeks we can spend a day at home just watching movies and realxing.
